Highlights of what readers are saying:
Tales of the Beechy Hollow Great Outdoors Club

The characters feel like old friends you’d love to camp with—if only to watch the chaos unfold. Each story brings its own kind of mischief and charm, but the “demon psychic mule” bit might be one of the funniest things I’ve read all year.

The writing is sharp, the pacing perfect, and the humor spot-on from start to finish. If you love clever storytelling and need a good laugh, this collection delivers big time.

Laugh-Out-Loud Adventure You Won't Want to End

Better than a Bucket o' Rubbers

I knew this book was really one I had to recommend to anyone who would listen when I had to run to tell my wife about what mess the Club got into with each story I finished. Also, this book actually delivers with the demon psychic mule story in a wonderful way.

In reading Tales of the Beechy Hollow Great Outdoors Club you will laugh, and laugh, and laugh some more. Each story is a great new adventure, many containing the same characters that you will really come to know despite these abbreviated stories. On top of that, the writing is quite good and did not detract at all during my reading.

Truly an uproariously humorous series of tales that you won't regret picking up.

Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate this delightful romp through the West Virginia hills and hollers. It consists of a collection of short stories woven together by a narrative from the lead character.

Real landmarks (ex: Dolly Sods, Blackwater Canyon) merge with fictitious towns dotted by a cast of colorful characters who are sometimes outsmarted by the wild animals they interact with. A dash of political intrigue mixed with a load of heart and humor makes Beechy Hollow an enjoyable read, and there's even a gentle lesson on conservation threaded throughout.

The book is suitable for most if not all ages. (There is some mild language and sexual innuendo, but nothing past a PG rating.) Take this book with you camping and take turns reading it around the campfire!
